Roofer windproofing membrane is a product with high vapor permeability used in the installation of ventilated facades. Roofer windproofing provides reliable protection for the insulation, primarily from weathering under the influence of air currents circulating under the curtain wall. And thanks to its good waterproofing properties, it serves as a barrier protecting the insulation from rain and snow penetrating through the components of the ventilated facade, which affects the insulation; even with slight wetting (up to 5% of its volumetric weight), it ceases to function as insulation. Roofer windproofing membrane ensures the drying of the insulation and the outer wall structure, and the "breathing" property of the windproofing membrane ensures the unimpeded release of water vapor accumulated in the insulation. Due to its high vapor permeability, Roofer windproofing membrane is laid directly onto the thermal insulation layer without a gap, which is impossible with other films. Its easy installation significantly reduces labor costs for mounting a ventilated facade. The windproofing protects the insulation from fiber weathering and dusting, maintaining its high thermal performance. It is stabilized against ultraviolet radiation (can be exposed to direct sunlight for up to two months). Membrane installation is simple – overlap markings are applied to it, as well as a corporate logo as protection against counterfeiting.
