Roofer H80 waterproofing membrane is a two-layer waterproofing membrane consisting of a yellow reinforcing layer and a transparent waterproofing layer. The membrane is made of primary polymers with the addition of a UV stabilizer.
Roofer H80 waterproofing membrane is used for all types of pitched roofs, external and internal insulation of walls and floors.
When installing an insulated roof, the Roofer waterproofing membrane is unwound and cut directly on the rafters over the insulation with the marked side facing uphill. Installation is carried out across the rafters, starting from the bottom of the roof, with a mandatory overlap of at least 150 mm at vertical and horizontal joints. The joints are fastened in lap joints, and with a roof slope of less than 30°, the lap joints must be at least 200 mm. The stretched membrane is fixed to the rafters with counter rails. The membrane must be fixed in a tensioned position with a sag between the rafters of 10 to 20 mm. A crate or solid plank flooring is mounted on the counter rails, depending on the type of roofing material. There should be a ventilation gap of 30-50mm between the membrane and the insulation, and not less than 50mm between the membrane and the roof. The lower edge should ensure that moisture is drained from the membrane surface into the gutter. For the removal of water vapor and condensate, it is important that the under-roof space is additionally ventilated; for this, ventilation gaps are left in the lower part of the roof and on the ridge for air circulation. When installing an uninsulated roof, the Roofer waterproofing membrane is installed in the same way, but with a roof slope of less than 30o with mandatory gluing using the Roofer double-sided polypropylene tape. When waterproofing the floor, the Roofer membrane is laid directly on the slab or on the insulation with a mandatory overlap at the joints of not less than 150-200mm. with the marked side facing uphill. All joints must be sealed with Roofer adhesive polypropylene tape.
Original TM ROOFER membranes are packed exclusively in branded packaging with the address of the manufacturer's facilities and technical specifications. The packed rolls must be glued on the ends with Roofer branded tape with the trademark applied to it. In the expanded form, all membranes have dotted markings on both sides at a distance of 150 mm. from the edge, the company logo and a printed batch number.
